Convertior guide
Common file conversion errors and how to fix them
Troubleshooting tips for failed uploads, unsupported files and quality problems.
Unsupported format
Some files use codecs or variations that a converter cannot read, even when the file extension looks familiar.
File too large
Large files can exceed browser memory limits, upload limits or processing limits. Try a smaller file or reduce the source file first.
Corrupted source file
If the original file is damaged, conversion may fail. Try opening it in its normal application before converting.
Wrong file extension
Sometimes a file extension does not match the actual file content. Renaming alone does not truly convert a file.
Quality looks wrong
Check output settings such as resolution, bitrate, frame rate and compression level.
Frequently asked questions
Why does a file extension matter?
It helps identify format, but the actual file data and codec matter too.
Can renaming a file convert it?
No. Renaming changes the label, not the file format.
What should I do if conversion fails?
Try another source file, reduce file size or use a more compatible format.
Need to convert a file?
Use Convertior tools after choosing the right format. Keep your original file until you have checked the converted result.
